Showtruck
The Wall AG presented the world premier of the Wall Showtruck in front of the Brandenburg Gate on August 30, 2006. The Showtruck is the "tour bus" that takes Wall AG's award-winning, interactive street furniture line Intelligent Series (designed by GK Sekkei) on the road. The Wall AG Roadshow will hit numerous German and European cities, giving city officials and citizens a chance to discover the high-quality Wall products.
In addition to the timescope, the Wall Showtruck boasts the Intelligent Series bus stop shelter and city information panel, both with bluespot terminal, and the innovative, wheelchair-accessible automatic public toilet with patented 2=1 technology. The Showtruck's advantages are obvious: it allows us to present our flagship products flexibly wherever and whenever needed, and we can react promptly to queries from all over Europe. Future users can fully explore the innovation levels, optics, and usability of our street furniture during live presentations.
Building the 17-m-long Showtruck took all of twelve months. Its four sides fold down automatically to reveal 150 m² of presentation stage. The truck doesn't need an external power source - its integrated generator powers both the hydraulic engine and the Wall products. All street furniture exhibits remain on the truck throughout the presentation. A specially designed track and dolly system lets them move "on stage".
